Tattoo removal

Think before you INK!

New job? New partner? New phase of life? Sometimes it's not just the tattoo that gets under your skin, but also the story behind it. The reasons for having a tattoo removed are as varied as the reasons for its creation.

How does tattoo removal work?

The color pigments trapped in the skin are bombarded with high-energy, bundled, extremely short pulses of light (picosecond = 0.000 000 000 001s). The light pulse with its different wavelength ranges is specially adjusted to the tattoo color to be removed so that the color pigment absorbs the light and is shattered. After the treatment, the immune system identifies it as a foreign body, absorbs it with the help of white blood cells and then removes it via the lymphatic system or excretes it from the body. During this process, the unaffected skin cells and surrounding tissue remain intact.

Treatment with the laser can sometimes also cause pain. Depending on how you feel about it, opinions on this vary greatly. As a rule, the pain of treatment is equated with tattooing or flicking a rubber band on the skin. The pain is greatly reduced by cooling the area to be treated.

Why Pico Laser?

Because treatment with a Pico laser requires fewer sessions and achieves better results. It is less painful than conventional laser systems and the risk of scarring is minimized.

Cover Up - Preparation (Turn old into new!)

There are tattoos that cannot be completely covered by a conventional cover-up due to their nature (depth/color). In such cases, it is sufficient to lighten the old tattoo in 3-6 laser sessions.

Our experienced tattoo artists will be happy to provide you with advice and assistance for an individual cover-up after your tattoo has been lightened.
