A freshly engraved tattoo requires the most careful care. By following our care tips, you will make a significant contribution to optimal healing. Your tattoo will thank you with dazzling colors and crystal-clear contours.
Please note the following:
- Remove the cover approx. 3 hours after treatment, unless otherwise instructed.
- Carefully wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and a pH-neutral soap and then dab it with a clean cloth or kitchen paper (dab - do not rub / do not cover it again) and apply a thin layer of cream.
- Repeat the washing process on the same day. This removes the escaping wound water and prevents the unnecessary formation of crusts.
- In the first week, the tattoo should be rubbed thinly 3-4 times a day with a care cream.
- In the second week, this process can be reduced to 1-2 times a day.
- For the first 3 days after tattooing, make sure that the crust is not softened too much when showering and that it does not come off before the skin underneath has completely healed.
- During the 2-3 weeks after tattooing, do not take a full bath, avoid direct sunlight and please do not visit a solarium, sauna or steam bath.
- If a crust forms on the tattoo, do not scrape it off or remove it; it will fall off on its own after a few days.
- Even if the tattoo itches, you should not scratch it. The itching means that the wound is healing.
- Care should be taken to wear clean, breathable clothing that is not too tight.
Always remember that:
Your tattoo is an injury to the skin. Make sure that no dust or other impurities get onto your fresh tattoo.
