Rook piercing

The rook piercing belongs to the family of cartilage piercings and is placed vertically in the cartilage fold above the anti-helix.

The Rook piercing was made famous by the American piercing artist Erik "Rook" Dakota, who is said to have been the first to pierce it.

Please note	For a rook piercing, we definitely recommend using a banana as the initial jewelry, as your piercing will heal faster compared to a ring as the initial jewelry. With a fresh rook piercing, we recommend sleeping for a few nights so that no pressure is exerted on the piercing. Cartilage piercings, such as the rook piercing, take a little longer to heal than other piercings.
Jewelry change	The first insert jewelry can be changed after approx. 3 - 6 weeks.
