The vertical clitoral hood piercing belongs to the family of female intimate piercings and, as the name suggests, is placed vertically on the clitoral hood.
The vertical clitoral hood piercing is relatively easy to insert and heals faster than other intimate piercings. For these reasons, it is very suitable as an entry-level intimate piercing and is therefore very popular.

| Please note | A sufficiently large clitoral hood is required for a vertical clitoral hood piercing, which is not possible with every Female for anatomical reasons. The vertical clitoral hood piercing can be pierced several times or combined with a horizontal clitoral hood piercing. If a clitoral hood piercing is placed correctly and is well tolerated by the Female , a considerable increase in pleasure can occur. Before an appointment for a clitoral hood piercing, the genital area should be well shaved (if hairy). This allows for much cleaner work and makes it much easier to apply the piercing. As with any intimate piercing, we recommend abstaining from sexual intercourse for 2 weeks. If this should nevertheless occur, only practice protected intercourse and stop immediately if you experience any pain. |
