The auricle piercing (also called pinna piercing) is typically placed at the outer end of the ear curve, in the middle of the ear (between the earlobe and the upper helix) and is a very popular ear piercing. Incidentally, the term auricle comes from the English and means pinna.
As there is a relatively large amount of space along the auricle, this area is particularly suitable for inserting several piercings.

Piercing type | Ear piercing |
---|---|
Healing time | approx. 3-6 months |
Please note | With an auricle piercing, we do not recommend using a ring as initial jewelry, as your piercing will heal faster with a labret or barbell. A piercing needle (hollow needle) should generally take precedence over an ear piercing gun, as the cartilage tissue would be literally shattered by using one. With a fresh Auricle piercing, we recommend sleeping for a few nights so that no pressure is exerted on the piercing. |
Jewelry change | The first insert jewelry can be changed after approx. 4-6 weeks. |
Price | CHF 69.– (including first insert jewelry made of pure titanium) |
