Piercing FAQ
Do I have to constantly avoid contact with nickel to prevent a nickel allergy?
No, this would hardly be possible. Nickel is found in many everyday objects. These include coins, cutlery, umbrellas and door latches. Food and alloys used in dentistry or surgery can also contain nickel. These objects, products or materials play no role in the development of the allergy. Only people who are severely allergic to nickel should be careful when handling them.
