Piercing FAQ

Which sports should be avoided after a piercing?

After a piercing, contact sports such as football, basketball or martial arts should be avoided for the first two weeks, as there is a risk of the piercing being hit or irritated. After these two weeks, you can additionally protect the piercing by covering it with a plaster. Swimming in pools or lakes should also be avoided as the water may contain bacteria that could cause infection.
