Tattoo FAQ

When can I swim again with my new tattoo?

After a tattoo, it is advisable to resist the temptation to show off your new work of art in the swimming pool for at least 2-4 weeks (see tattoo care instructions) and to refrain from swimming in chlorinated water, as this can fade your tattoo.

Sea water (salt water), even a full bath at home in your bathtub, is not suitable for the healing of your freshly engraved tattoo.

The scab (crust) must not be softened by swimming or heavy perspiration.

Please really take these 2-4 weeks before you go swimming with your new tattoo - so the pigments (tattoo color) stay where they belong.
