Piercing FAQ
What are the special considerations for intimate piercings?
As the name suggests, an intimate piercing is something very personal. For this reason, an intimate piercing is always associated with an appointment and is not carried out spontaneously.
With a freshly pierced intimate piercing, you must refrain from sexual intercourse for 2 - 4 weeks and from this time until your new piercing has completely healed, you may only practice safe sex (with a condom).
This is absolutely important! Because if an intimate piercing is strained during the healing phase, there is an acute risk of infection and healing can take a long time.
The most important thing is to seek comprehensive and professional advice for special piercings in order to know the exact procedure of the treatment.
Please note that at 2nd Skin intimate piercings are only applied to the same sex.
