What should I bear in mind when choosing a new cover-up tattoo motif?

A cover-up motif must always be larger and darker in color than the tattoo to be covered up in order to make it disappear completely. It is not possible to cover up a small dark spot with another dark spot. The smaller the unwanted motif is, the more likely it is that your new desired motif can also be professionally covered.
