Tattoo removal FAQ

What is the procedure for tattoo treatment with the q-switched tattoo laser?

After the dermatologist has approved the skin area, the laser therapist first carries out a trial laser treatment to determine whether there is no overreaction to the laser treatment. When removing permanent make-up, the first step is to determine which wavelength is best suited for removal, as permanent make-up is often a complex mixture of colors. The eyes are then protected with protective goggles and the laser therapist shoots a grid-like pattern into the tattoo with up to 5 laser shots per second, while simultaneously cooling the skin area with cold air. The successful blasting of the color pigment is confirmed with a loud popping sound and the immediate white coloration of the skin area.
