Tattoo FAQ

What does the creation process of your new tattoo look like?

You think it - we ink it! Your mind is made up. You want to get a tattoo. The following six steps will give you an insight into the tattooing process:

1st consultation

During the consultation, we will discuss exactly what kind of tattoo you want. We will discuss the location on your body, the size of the design, and give you an initial estimate of the duration and price of the treatment.
If you already have designs in mind, please bring them with you.

2. draft of a drawing / advance payment

On request, the member artist of your choice will design a tattoo motif, entirely according to your ideas and visions, which will remain a unique piece and will not be used again. To commission your drawing, aprepayment is required. The amount can vary between CHF 100 and CHF 250, depending on the cost, and the prepayment will of course be deducted from the tattoo price. It takes about two to six weeks to produce the drawing (depending on size and type). As soon as it is ready, you will be contacted so that you can take a look at the drawing. If necessary, you are welcome to make suggestions for changes.

3. prices

The minimum price for a tattoo is CHF 96. Tattoos that can be completed in a single session are charged at a flat rate. For a non-binding price estimate, we recommend a free consultation. You can also find additional information at SafeTattoo.ch you will find a tattoo price calculatorthat you can use to get a realistic, but non-binding cost estimate based on your specifications—the final prices are determined by our member artists. Important: The preparation of your tattoo and the sketching of freehand tattoos are part of the work performed by your member artist.

4th date

Your tattoo appointment will be arranged on site and requires an advance payment (between CHF 100.- and CHF 350.-) if no deposit has been paid for a drawing. This will of course be deducted from the final invoice. If you are unable to attend the appointment, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance. If you do not show up or cancel too late, the advance payment will not be deducted from the final invoice.

5. tattoo care

Proper care is essential for your freshly engraved tattoo, as incorrect or negligent treatment can lead to poor healing, which could affect the quality of your tattoo. Here you can find the 2nd Skin care instructions as a PDF download.

6. re-piercing

If your tattoo needs to be touched up, please contact your member artist and make an appointment. This will allow him or her to get a personal impression and schedule the necessary time. Re-pricking is recommended after four to six weeks at the earliest. This service is included in the price within 6 months.
