Tattoo FAQ
What are suitable motifs for a cover-up tattoo?
An unwanted tattoo can basically be covered with any motif that is not subject to a fixed line.
Dragons or animals with a structure (body shape, fur, feathers or fish scales) are particularly suitable for this, as are floral motifs such as tendrils, leaves and flowers.
However, it is more difficult to optimally cover up a Maori tattoo with its large black areas. However, it is possible to lighten the existing tattoo with 2 to 3 tattoo removal laser treatments to such an extent that a cover-up with the new desired motif is possible.
