Tattoo FAQ
Temporary tattoos, body time tattoos, temp tattoos or organic tattoos. Are there tattoos that fade after a few years?
No, there is no such thing! Temporary tattoos (Body Time Tattoos, Temptoos or Bio Tattoos) are often offered in beauty salons. These temporary tattoos are said to fade completely after 2-5 years.
According to the claims of such organic tattooists, the temptoos should gradually disappear through the skin's natural regeneration process. However, this is strongly contradicted by tattooists and dermatologists, as the image would naturally disappear after 4-6 weeks due to the normal regeneration of the skin! From a medical point of view, it is therefore considered impossible for a skin image to disappear in this way. To date, we are not aware of any case in which a so-called bio tattoo or temptoo has actually disappeared without leaving any residue.
The idea of a skin image for a limited time is only possible with a henna tattoo. So keep your hands off dubious offers such as body time tattoos, temp tattoos or organic tattoos.
