Piercing FAQ
How do you prevent a nickel allergy?
In most cases, a nickel allergy is caused by nickel-containing objects that release nickel through contact with the skin or an open wound (such as a piercing or earshot), which then enters the human organism and can trigger an allergy depending on the person.
You can easily find out for yourself whether a piece of jewelry releases too much nickel into the skin with a nickel test, which is available in any pharmacy.
