Tattoo FAQ

How long do I have to wait before I can go out in the sun with my tattoo?

To allow your freshly engraved tattoo to recover and heal in the best possible way, we recommend that you avoid direct sunlight and visits to the solarium for 2 - 4 weeks (this can vary slightly from person to person). During this time, you should also avoid using sun cream, as some of the ingredients in sunscreen could damage your tattoo.

As soon as your tattoo is completely healed, you can go back into the sun and also to the solarium. However, we recommend using a sun cream with an appropriate sun protection factor, especially for colorful tattoos, to prevent gradual fading.
