Henna Tattoo FAQ

How should I prepare for a henna or jagua appointment?

The area of the body intended for the tattoo must not be very hairy and must therefore be shaved beforehand. This is the only way to ensure that the henna or jagua paste is optimally absorbed.

Furthermore, the area of the body to be painted should not be treated with ointments or creams before the appointment (at least 2 to 3 hours before the session).

Ideally, you should use a peeling before the treatment. This exfoliates the top layer of skin and your henna or Jagua tattoo will last longer.
