Can I take alcohol, drugs or medication before getting a tattoo?
No. Please always attend your appointment sober - i.e. free from alcohol and all other drugs.
Alcohol, drugs and painkillers can have a blood-thinning effect, which makes it considerably more difficult for the body to absorb the color pigments.
